Star Wars Stuff Spread
In 1980, Woman's Day magazine published patterns for building your own Empire Strikes Back play sets - specifically Hoth and a volcanic Dagobah.
I don't know how she did it, but my mom, sometime between the release the of Thanksgiving issue of Woman's Day and Christmas (with a 2 month old baby me hanging around), built the Hoth play set from scratch whilst my brothers were at school and I was napping. It is that large white thing in the photo.
And it was AWESOME!!! We loved that play set. It had a launcher made from a rubber glove! And a slot where you could hang Luke upside down in the Wampa cave!
My brothers loved it so much they posed with all their Star Wars goods (and a few non SW goods...) for a photo. The spread includes my oldest brother's Darth Vader sock puppet that he made himself (on the left side of the pic) and his own design of a Dagobah play set (the piece of cardboard with the twigs and stuff next to the landspeeder up front).

Playing with Dice [one]
Rolling and playing with his dice, mostly that giant 6 sided from Lake Tahoe, one my mom got me many years ago.
K loves dice, he shrieks DIIIICE when he finds or is given his dice bag. Yes HIS dice bag, he already pretty much took over some of my excess dice, and a couple of months ago we went and he picked out his very own set. [The light blue ones]
