We, at Shabee Stitches, have been making bridal accessories for ages and when a good friend of ours announced that he and his wife were having a baby we just had to make up something!

When we found out it was going to be baby girl we jumped on the idea of a frilly baby bonnet in pink. But-what to do to make it not the usual? With a little experimentation we came up with what we think is the perfect style...

This bonnet is made from cotton fabric and we love to use some of our lace and trims we have collected for ages in making these bonnets special. Lined in white cotton gauze fabric, the bonnet features an adjustible back, white gathered laces that have been salvaged from vintage wedding gowns (circa 1960's-1970's) and vintage European lavender ribbon for trim. We also used new mini-gimp and white satin ribbon for ties. This bonnet will fit a baby with about a 17-18 inch head.

so here it tis..i have been tagged and i did a cheesy selfie pic and now for the ten random things about me...

1. My hubby and I met on a blind date thirteen years ago this year : )

2. I am quite short 4' 11' and I don't mind it all

3. The dark scares me, I have a wild imagination and that doesn't help it all, there are night lights everywhere in my house ; )

4. After 31 years I have realized that I like me! To be honest, I used to not like myself too much but now I am thrilled to be Tonia : ) I know that I can be a tad bit strange but I am me and I am pretty cool : )

5. Candy is my bad habit

6. Zombie movies are just the coolest ever, I am not one for romance movies too much

7. Sometimes I get baby fever...but what mom doesn't..either way, some doctors say I can have more children and others say I can't, I have risky deliveries and I am quite thrilled to have one boy and one girl, pretty darn perfect : )

8. I dress like a hippy but it doesn't mean I am one...

9. I got kicked out of ballet when I was six or so because I was showing off...haha some things don't change

10. I learned how to swim at the age of 11..pathetic I know
