So our fridge busted its ass last night
Started beeping at us that it was d y i n g. Whee! Friday night! Why are appliances like kids and they all get sick on the weekends?
We had to empty the sucker. Stored some stuff at the neighbor's (thanks, Melanie and Kirby!), tossed a lot of condiments no one ate anyway (ew) and I had to crack open all my coconuts and dispense them into freezer bags. That was a little sad-making. But I can handle frozen coconut water for a week. Anyway.
Guy came this morning (Geek Squad!) and set it right, save a lighbulb that'll take a week to come in. But eh, it's just a light. So the fridge is back in business. Got a good cleaning and I made a Market Basket run and now I'm kind of pleased with things. No more condiments no one eats. Room for all my weirdo raw food. Room for snacks (half raw, half not) for the kids in the door.
oScar and (in?) the freezer ...
Tonight I caught oScar in the fridge. I've asked him "why'". He answered me he was hunger but the fridge door has been closed without warning and he wasn't able to open it from the interior ..... poor oScar !
