Crosley's "Treaure Island" book radio. This radio from the mid 50's contains three subminiature tubes and two transistors. This was one of the last radios made by the Crosley company and was the only Crosley radio to use transistors. AVCO (Aviation Company) who owned the Crosley Corporation, ceased using the Crosley brand name in 1956.
Don't be fooled if you see a new or "repro" radio branded as a Crosley. Someone has paid for the rights to use the name but it is not the real thing.
