Love Song



These are the prophetic words of Misty Edwards, a singer from the International House of Prayer. During a time in the prayer room, I heard her prophetically sing these and was moved to write them down.

Note: It might be difficult to read the words because of the size of the picture. Here is what this picture says:

Do you know how you’ve caught My eye in the secret place where you chose to die?

I’ve seen inside of you. I’ve seen that you’ve said that you’re going to do whatever it takes to meet with Me. Do you know the way you move Me? I want you to learn how to lean on Me and no one else. It’s going to be worth it. Let Me be your vision. Let Me be your goal in life. Let Me be your portion.

You may feel like you’re dying and you’re dying to live with Me.

Come away. I will make you like a priest. I will be your portion. Am I enough for you?

You’re going to feel misunderstood. You’re going to feel judged. I’m going to starve you out. I’m going to starve you out until you don’t desire the praise of men even the godly ones. You will be glad when you get to the other side and wisdom will be justified. The wisdom of God seems simple but it is the way to everlasting life.

I want you. I want you. I love you. I love you.

You don’t have to prove yourself.

Burne-Jones began this painting in 1868 and worked on it for several years. It was first shown in 1878 in an exhibition at the Grosvenor Gallery, London, that established the artist's reputation. The accompanying catalogue dated the work 1873 and cited a refrain from a Breton love song as its subtitle: "Alas, I know a love song, / Sad or happy, each in turn."
