everything will be ok.
this chair has a twin. it's in storage. i rescued it from a "retreads" store many years ago. it was a hideous black lacquer with a really ugly upholstery. i stripped it down to it's lovely pale self, sanded and oiled it and gave it a beautiful new fabric seat. it was at my dining table, along with several other refinished chairs, for many years. i love this chair. it reminds me of happier times.
Lacquer workshop for monks' bowls
Lacquer container and place where to heat the lacquer. The lacquer will be later applied to the bowls by hand (not a brush, but fingers will be used)
