A dining room is a room for consuming food. In modern times it is usually adjacent to the kitchen for convenience in serving, although in medieval times it was often on an entirely different floor level.

So, I don't have many green things, and I wasn't able to get out and take many photos before it got dark, so you get an oldie that I just got around to processing.
This is the dining room at the George Wythe House in Colonial Williamsburg. This is one of my favorite houses in town. It has some amazing reproduction wallpaper including this green that mimics verdigris.
Where The Table Will Go
My parents are moving AGAIN...sigh...and we saw their new house today. The placement of the chairs without the dining room table seemed so forlorn and moved me somehow. I thought it deserved a pic.
