This was not long after the park opened for the day, a bunch of other guests and I were trapped under these awnings waiting for the rain to pass. It came down in sheets! 20 minutes later, the sky cleared and the rest of the day was sunny--and very muggy.

The demolition/renovation of the University Heights side of Cedar Center started in 2006. You can see Whole Foods under construction, while the most of the awnings are stripped away from the rest of the shopping plaza, as it is readied for demolition.
