I'm at the 2nd Annual Fall Auto Fest/Swap Meet on the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry.
I asked David and his best friend to "go one way while I go this other way". They were looking for very specific gearhead-type things that I know nothing about. I wanted to be a photography geek. Further, I walk with a cane (which is not visible in a lot of my photographs. I try to use it as little as possible, because it makes me feel OLD!). I knew I'd be slowing them down if I didn't go my own way at the event.
I did not like the colors that Picnik kept trying to assign to this latish-afternoon photograph taken in the shade, so I went with the Black & White photo effect.
Break time is about over as I'm a bit rested. Time to go take some more pictures of old cars and intriguing things.

11^2 X ?:
My original intention was to take 11 sets of 11 photographs (11^2 = 121). I ended up taking 847, not all of them useable. I don't know how many different sets I'll wind up posting.

Larkspur Shades of Blue
Annual. Blooms from spring to summer. 3' - 5' tall. Full sun. Tall spires of densely packed light and dark blue flowers. Excellent plant for the back of the flower bed or against a wall or fence. Blooming begins in the cool weather of spring and early summer, but may continue through fall. Considered one of the best flowers for cut and dried floral arrangements. There is a legend that Larkspur originated during the battle of Troy. When Achilles was slain, a warrior named Ajax was expected to get his armor, an honor for the bravest warrior. When he unexpectedly didn't get it, he took his own life, and where his blood spilled, a small blue Larkspur began to grow. Prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil that is slightly alkaline.
