Le Posographe
The Posographe was a very interesting light metering device, made by Ets. Kaufmann in Paris. One side of the Posographe had a sheet for exterior and the other side a sheet for interior photography. By sliding the indicators for all the different parameters, it was possible to destine the most ideal time/aperture setting of the camera.
All the indicators have been mechanically connected to each other by means of boomerang shaped tiny flat metal blades. The larger indicator in the right top corner marks the recommended shutter speed for the combination of the set parameter combination.
