Rasima
A watercolor painting from a photograph from National Geographic. The image depicts a bride in the Serbian village Donje Ljubinje. Brides paint their face to ward off back luck. After the ceremony, the bride's face is washed clean. The bride in the picture is Rasima Biljibani. The name Rasima means "architect" or "planner."
