I am doing Design Technology for AS-Level and have been given the brief of designing a light. This is a model of my light. It was designed using Techsoft's 2D Design (a CAD program) and cut using a laser cutter! It took 2 hours to design it and only 25 minutes to cut it out. I'm undecided whether it should be a hanging light on a desk light.
Any comments or suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks :)

American, very adjustable double rigid fiberglass shade lamp on bent tubing with a tapered free-form solid oak base. All original. Early 1950. It's made in such a way that the 2 tubes swivel on the oak base allowing each to rotate. The shades are mounted with a ball socket as well so that they pivot at that point too. Makes a great desk lamp and very sharp looking too.
