Shady Overhang and Energy Saving Windows
This is a picture of the overhang at the front of the Biology Building. The windows are double-paned, which prevents energy leaks. The windows also offer a way for natural light to enter the building, so that less artificial lighting is necessary. The overhang itself provides shade for the building.

The big windows in the Herty building provide a lot of natural light. This natural light helps to conserve power, money, and energy by reducing the artificial light. There are, also, trees around the building shading the building.
