Around here, we get many red-tailed hawks and bald eagles, but this was the first rough-legged hawk that i've seen.

For those in the area, this was almost at the very end of 64th, near Boundary Bay in Ladner. It's not that far of a bike ride from the Ladner bus exchange...just on the other side of the highway, and then south a bunch.
