We decided to push the kid down the hill today. Sounds cruel but works!!! No training wheels and of course she fell a few times but she got better and better. She loved zooming down that hill and made me go back today.
After a few more tries she is now proudly riding her bike without her training wheels. Not just down hills but on sidewalks also. We are so proud.

I remember riding my first bike using training wheels. I outgrew the bike fast so I had to learn how to ride the thing without them.
