Plycraft Cherner Chair in White Vinyl
Vintage mid century modern Cherner side chair in white, originally designed by Norman Cherner for the Plycraft company in 1958. This particular chair is a revised version, circa-1961. Made from rich bent plywood with a naugahyde vinyl seat. A very versatile chair; can be used for dining, as a desk chair, or as an occasional chair.
In excellent, sturdy, vintage condition. Original upholstery is lightly yellowed due to age, with some small marks and areas of discoloration. One stain on the back of the chair, as seen in the final picture, with other light wear to the wood consistent with it's age. Overall, this chair is in remarkable vintage condition.
Measures 18" high to the seat, 31 1/2" high to the top, 17 1/2" across the seat, 17" across the back, and 20" from front to back.
Some Chairs from the Pritchard House
Chairs on loan to the county from the Pritchard Family, in storage. These chairs were once in the Pritchard House, and are some of the most unique little occasional chairs I have seen.
(This was another shot taken when the lens in my camera wanted to flee from the lens hood - thus the general focus wonkiness and uber-weird vinetting.)
