Gerbera rossa
La gerbera e una pianta appartenente alla famiglia delle Asteraceae molto comune ed utilizzata soprattutto come fiore reciso. Il nome fu dato a questa pianta dal naturalista Gerber e fu introdotta in Italia nei primi decenni del secolo scorso. La gerbera ha dei bei fiori molto simili a quelli della margherita che possono essere di diversi colori, dal bianco al rosa al lilla al giallo all'arancione. Nel linguaggio dei fiori la gerbera assume diversi significati a seconda del colore dei fiori: la gerbera rosa ad esempio e simbolo di amore e giovinezza, la gerbera rossa dell'amore passionale e della vittoria, la gerbera gialla e simbolo di gloria, la gerbera arancione e simbolo di allegria e soddisfazione. My MIL bought us a beautiful bunch of flowers because it was lucy's christening. They have my favourite flowers in them - Gerberas.
I like the pale yellow here.
