Girl with flower hat
This photograph is on a postally unused pre-1918 postcard with no publisher's name.
Women wore beautiful fashions in those days. Look how the cut of her jacket emphasises her slim waist, and long skirts and dresses always look elegant.
The raised ends to the shoulders also look rather cute. And check out the satellite dish hat! It's a pity that the general public didn't have ready access to colour photography in those days.
It's a somewhat curious pose - she seems to be leaning slightly to her right, and she's holding her left arm and hand rather awkwardly, as if she was caught unawares.
If you look at this photograph in Original, you'll see it much more clearly than this lady ever did with her postcard-sized print.
