OK I've had this thing for a few months now and I'm very happy with the results. I think the price is a little high for the unit, but it makes up for the no hassle of umbrellas, stands and soft-boxes set up. It does not replace a studio setup, but does offer convenience when on the move.
The DVD that comes with it are the same videos you see free on youtube, so there's nothing special there.
This test was only with the cloud, white inverted dome and a Canon 580exII speedlite. I will do some more test results later with the clear, amber dome and the chrome dome kicker.

I tried his will not fall off test and it failed. I'm glad I still had my strap on around my neck. I pulled the Velcro strap so tight I though I was going to break it and it still would not hold the eight pounds of my camera. My be I'm doing something wrong, but there are no instructions on how to attach it. It just slides on to the flash and has a Velcro strap to cinch it up.
Chris Cook - New MCCC ITT Record
On a windy day [today] at the Macarthur Collegians Cycling Club's Individual Time Trial held at their Menangle Course; Chris Cook has set an un-confirmed (Confirmed as of 22/06/2011) record time of 24mins 24seconds over the undulating 17km course. Will update official timings when they are released.
Tough day shooting but there may be one or two more worthy of an upload.
