MOPS Tea & Testimony 2008
This was for our MOPS Tea & Testimony (May 2008). The inspiration came from Savers---yep, the thrift store. I went there looking for tea cups and that's when I got the idea for the blue and white. I found all of this stuff for very little $$ (and since it was over Memorial Day I got some of it half off!) I also had this idea in my head that we needed yellow flowers. One of the gal's at the table has an aunt in the wholesale florist business and she donated all the flowers!
Peonies lovely
In Covent Garden Flower Market, very early in the morning you will find banks of flowers, foliage and fripperies being sold off wholesale...purportedly. Not the cheapest place, but the best quality. These peonies were just in season, their fussy heads just starting to unfurl.
