My Herb and Veggie Garden
"I used to visit and revisit it a dozen times a day, and stand in deep contemplation over my vegetable progeny with a love that nobody could share or conceive of who had never taken part in the process of creation. It was one of the most bewitching sights in the world to observe a hill of beans thrusting aside the soil, or a rose of early peas just peeping forth sufficiently to trace a line of delicate green." ~Nathaniel Hawthorne, Mosses from and Old Manse
Finished the fence to keep Josie and other creatures out of my garden.
Now just need to stain or paint it.
The 4 x 4's line the beds and make them raised.
I salvaged the bricks and most of the 4x4's
There is also eggplant, asparagus, rhubarb, and onions

Fire Pit - Bricks
There was a brick circle in our garden when we moved in, which was originally a raised flower bed. Looking at this circle of bricks is what originally sparked the fire pit idea. When we pulled the bricks up to use them, most still had mortar on them from whatever they'd originally been, and a few chunks were still together.
I thoguht these two looked kind of cool and snapped their picture before putting them into the pit.
