That is my new bike! And by "new" I mean recently purchased rusty and scratched 80's road bike. Hopefully it's too ugly to be nicked. If it does, well it was cheap anyways...
I realize now that biking through central London during rush hour can be quite liberating. It's an "embrace the chaos" situation I haven't experienced since riding the autorickshaws of Mumbai. I mean that in a good way (too slow to be scary, drivers seem used to it).
It doesn't feel dangerous. It's good to have the strength in numbers of dozens of bikers storming Oxford street amidst double-decker buses and rambling shoppers.
Bike Rack
I'm getting bike-crazy, and that's probably because I still don't have my road bike done! I have found a cheap source of some 650B wheels though, so that's a plus. Hopefully I will be riding it by the end of the week.
