Children of the sweet peas that flowered three years ago
I found an old re-used envelope in my cupboard. There was written "Lathyrus odoratus". I thougt they might have been there in the cupboard for too long, but no: they bloom now so sweetly! And oh boy, they're so fragrant! Not a surprise: they're (probably hybridized) children of heirloom varieties with smaller flowers and bigger scent.
I just ADORE this flower so much. So delicate, slender and romantic, so sweet and small. And a climber, which means one doesn't have to bow to sniff the bloom!
