Lilac
Several years ago, we chopped and dugged up a Lilac plant in the front yard that was growing too large for the area it was in. It was blocking the view from the door and front window to the front of the driveway and my Mom felt safer with it gone.
Now we have a small Lilac plant growing a few feet away from where the original one was. I think these grew from a leftover root. I'm not sure if we are going to dig it up and plant it in a pot or relocate it, since it's in an awkward area.
Lilac tree reflected in my room's mirror
In this time of year the lilac tree in my garden blooms and the brunches "break into" my room. Feels dreamy :)
"lilac" in Armenian is "yasaman", but we often use Russian "siren"
