Ethernet To Wireless Access Point

a type of network technology for local area networks; coaxial cable carries radio frequency signals between computers at a rate of 10 megabits per second
alternative capitalization of Ethernet
A system for connecting a number of computer systems to form a local area network, with protocols to control the passing of information and to avoid simultaneous transmission by two or more systems
A set of network cabling and network access (CSMA/CD) protocol standards for bus topology computer networks invented by Xerox but now controlled by the 802.3 subcommittee of the IEEE; A computer network which complies with such set of standards

Great Room in Point Cabin
The common area in Point Cabin at Jasper Park Lodge. There is a large wooden fireplace that the staff setup every day. The staff take such good care of it that it take just second to light and have a roaring fire.
The room sits 8 or 10 people on the couch and chairs but there is seating all along the large window shown on the left. There is also a round table and four chairs not shown. The whole room can hold dozens under party conditions.
The staff provide newspapers in the common area every day. There is a TV with DVD player (which needs to hooked up manually). There is an Ethernet hookup for Internet access tucked in beside the TV but it does not reach very far (its a stupid location): bring a wireless access point of your own. There is also a stereo that will play MP3 discs. The stereo has an auxiliary input but it doesn't use RCA inputs... it takes a normal small microphone jack as input.
The heart
This is where the Internet is piped through from. A standard ADSL MAX (upto 8mbit) is coming through to here, into a switch, which is sent through to a mesh box through power over ethernet, a switch which also has a power injector to supply ethernet over powerline.
