Sagemont Alum , Anastagia Pierre, started competing in beauty pageants when she was five. At 14, and a freshman at Sagemont, she won the title of Miss Florida Teen USA in 2004. Two years after her high school graduation, she won the title of Miss Florida USA 2009, and was the first African American to do so. During her reign, she worked closely with the Best Buddies organization as well as Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Anastagia was introduced to community service work during her years at Sagemont as she worked on projects such as Relay For Life & Kid's in Distress. She plans to continue her community service work for organizations dealing with children and women's issues. In April, Anastagia will be competing in the Miss Bahamas pageant. If she wins, she will compete in the internationally televised Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.

The Sagemont School is a private school serving preschool students starting at age three through high school graduation. This respected college prep school caters to the Fort Lauderdale area, including Weston, Davie, Southwest Ranches, Cooper City, Miramar, and Sunrise. For students in preschool through grade 5, Sagemont provides core concepts in a creative environment combined with weekly specials that include science, art, music, Spanish for non-native & native speakers, swimming, PE and media and technology. From middle school through high school graduation, Sagemont students choose from a variety of regular, honors and AP course work. Having a bit of a go at using off camera flash with my flash mounted on a stand connected to a wireless set-up with unbrellas.
This one was using my 420EX flash set up to the right of me. This is the best shot after a few not so good photos. I think my flash is basic and not sure if there is a way of adjusting the flash itself (oh I am such a newbie at this cause I not sure if you can) as I found that alot of photos were TOO bright so I just adjusted my settings on my camera. Dropped Ap down and shutter speed higher till I got a better result.

Molly is the most amazing addition to my family and I absolutly love her to bits. Such a amazing nature.
