While sitting in my place and editing pictures from the days adventure ash asked me if it was possible if i could do one of those outline things. A silhouette i asked? I said yeah i just need a really strong backlight we can do this more near sunset or at night and i can use my lights. She really didn't want to shoot outside and wanted to do it indoors at my place. so i set all my lights up. this was very hard to create a silhouette since the bounce of the light would light the room pretty well instead of create one huge strong light source. I was able to create some kind of silhouette and the umbrellas add alittle extra.

strobist: sb-800 and sb-600 in front of camera with shoot though umbrellas, two home depot work lights as well to create the strongest light source i could. triggered with nikon cls in ttl mode.

This is my niece Emily. I forced her into this, lol. But she enjoyed it shomwhat. Bees were swarming outside, and she's very afraid of them. Snapped this good one here of her against my house.

Used one 430ex ii on a lightstand w/ shoot through umbrella at 1/2 power, 28mm. Flash triggered by the 7D wireless comand.

I spent about 5 minutes going around the side of my house taking pictures until Emily heard the ice cream truck. Photoshoot over. As for post-processing, I use Canon's Digal Photo Profressional (?). Don't have Photoshop or any other software yet.
