We ran a BET AGM of sorts.
The female presenter in the spotlight was embarrassingly hot and uber famous (she interviewed Oprah Winfrey and Li'l Kim a few days before she came to us).
It was my job to wire her up for the wireless lapel microphone. But I was too nervous and started going all giggly and sweating. I had to attach the battery pack to her hip under her jacket and follow the wire up to her collar. I couldn't do it and asked if she could do it herself. She was really sweet about it which made me even more embarrassed.
I ran upstairs and hid for the remainder of the show!
In action
I asked for a lapel microphone which KDU did not have so I had to hold the microphone and speak. Which was better than having a lectern.... it's not good to hide behind a lectern.
