Firstly, let me start by saying these things are really BIG! These guys are both 1 1/2 x 2 FEET!
Not the typical hobby-store dinky little PBN kit size you usually find.
The subject is a faceless Japanese peasant fisherman and a rustic wind-tortured Bonsai-looking tree in the foreground. Snow-capped Mount Fuji is shown off in the turquoise distance in both paintings. Both are signed on the back; 'Ray 1960'
Too cool for words!

I found both of these at a local church rummage sale and may have to keep them.






















i recently found this mug at my local thrift shop and purchased it for 99cents.
i love the design and color! i've been drinking my morning coffee out of this one lately...
made in Japan.
