Wooden church window.
This picture is taken from a wooden church built in the Karpathian Mountains. It has been moved the architectural museum outside Kyiv.
This window is low down on the window and on the side of the church. It is quite small - at most a couple of feet in either dimension. The horse-shoe protection would be a necessary deterent against the possibility of someone entering the locked church and taking its valuables.

A shot taken from my table of the inside courtyard garden through the large bay window. I like how this looks. :)
