Natural tones. Inspired by shim + sons arrangement on Chow. Bags of popcorn punched with guests' names used as favors/nametags. In the center of the main table, I wrapped two drinking glasses with wood grain scrapbook paper and cork and filled them with malt balls and almonds.

Oh the joys of the holidays!
My role in my house thanksgiving was table decorator. I made the place cards in less than an hour. All you need is a template from Microsoft Word, a hot glue gun, and a nature walk in the front yard :)
