Cake Decorating Table

Friday, Jan. 2
I dropped off the finished cake at the reception site this morning. Since it was winter wedding, I used some white lights under organza fabric to create festive "wintery" look. Not too shabby :)
Then I went home and vegged out. Making cakes is a bit stressful (even though I really enjoy it) and I never feel fully relaxed until I safely drive the cake to the destination and get rid of it. I slept well last night, not worrying that something might happen the cake before the wedding :)
Kristy's Wedding Cake
This is my second official wedding order. The cakes are Banana Mud on the bottom with a Chocolate Raspberry Mud on top. I loved doing the piping although it did get alittle tricky on the sides ( I'm still yet to purchase a tilting turn table).
When the bride came to see she loved it! It's so nice seeing their expressions when they look at their wedding cake, shame its not always like this!
