One of the few times I have used "live view" on the D700.

Just taking a few "bokeh" shots of the lights and thought it would be a good idea to get the a ceiling "snowflake" decoration in the shot. I could have stood on a chair, but "live view" makes this unnecessary!

Added a bit of "grain" in Capture NX2 - shot at iso560 using "auto iso" so no native grain.

For my friends who call me melly. ;)

I was browsing through flickr yesterday and was inspired by all the holiday shots. Decided to do one with my tiny little tree. The lights were simply too long and that's where I got the idea to entangle myself into the tree as well.

Such a magical time of the year! I wish you all a happy holidays!
