Well, the heater guy came this morning and resolved numerous issues with our heating system for far less money than I thought it was going to cost. That was the lone highlight of the day. Most of the rest of the day found Kaylee and me arguing about when she should take a nap, whether or not she should actually eat some of the food I was giving to her, and whether or not she felt like going to bed when it was time for bed.
I'm probably exaggerating (a little bit), but it really was a rough afternoon. There are some days I feel like a complete failure as a parent, and this was one of them. And I hope you'll understand that, after a day like this, this photo was the best I could come up with.
50/365 Electric Bill
Our electric bill for last month was a whopping $127.49!!! My roommate and I are not pleased at all, especially since the both of us had just bought little heaters for our rooms for the sole purpose of reducing our electric bill. Besides the ever-increasing cost of electricity, we have absolutely no idea how in the world our bill is so high (more than double our usual). Ugh...
