Photosynthesis can be considered the basis for almost all life on earth.
It is a natural chemical-process by which chlorophyll in green plants, blue-green algae, phytoplankton, and green and purple bacteria uses sunlight to convert water and atmospheric carbon dioxide into life sustaining organic compounds such as glucose.
Being also responsible for almost all the oxygen in the atmosphere, photosynthesis is the basis of all life on earth.

This shot was actually a happy accident. It was supposed to just be a droplets on ladybird shot, but I clicked as the water was coming down and ended up liking this shot more! Luckily the little ladybird didn't seem to mind her random shower ;-)
