HCS: flip flops...
OK.... So there are two camps on this issue. There are the those who like to shed the socks and let the dogs breath during the summer and then there are those who believe mens feet should always be covered and hidden away... Hope I don't offend anyone but I'm in the camp of letting them run free. Barefoot or flip flops whenever possible for me!
I found these the other day. Flat Tire Footwear brand. Made of recycled rubber pellets, the lining fabric is made from 50% recycled plastic bottles and the outsole is coated with recyclable and biodegradable vegetable fibers.
Not only good for pedi-ventilation but good for the environment as well!!
Sorry this is so late today but better late than never...

“Re-Tired Swimwear and Debris-Free Bag” Created and Worn by Taylor Stevenson
The bike inner tubes used to create this swimwear come with natural light reflectors: the blinding white legs of a native Portlander. Taylor Stevenson hand-crafted this 1950’s style bathing suit and cap entirely out of used bike inner tubes, including finely cut bike tubing as the thread. There is certainly no shortage of bike tires in Portland!
Taylor’s Debris-Free beach bag is made from ironed plastic bags and plastic 6-pack rings, reminding all of us that 99% of the world’s beach debris is plastic. The tossed flowers are for your bicycles, so when you’re riding through Portland’s winter rain you can dream of your next day at the beach.
