Fox River Mills Railroad Spur, Appleton WI
The piers in the river just above the center of the picture used to hold up a spur leading to the former Fox River Mills (woolen mills; now apartments) on Olde Oneida Street in Appleton, WI. Judging from old photos, the trestle was built at a slight incline with a curve at the north end (right side) going into the mill. I am not sure when this trestle was dismantled.
