Classic Motorcycle Show at the Simeone
The Third Annual "Classic Motorcycles at the Simeone Museum" opened on August 13th, featuring Italian great Ducati. Since the 1920s, Ducati has been known for performance, and 35 examples of some of the company's greatest models are on display, plus other fine italian machines.
The show runs through Thursday, September 8th. The bikes then move out to the Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance on Sunday, Sept. 11th.
The show opened with a “Kick Start” Party with special guest of honor Cook Neilson, legendary Ducati racer and journalist. Over 125 guests had the opportunity to hear Cook tell of his racing career, especially his Cinderella win at Daytona in 1977 on "Old Blue," his 750SS Ducati.
