Stevie, singing along: "We're going to score..."
Ronnie: "We're going to win, Twins!"
Stevie: "Watch that baseball soar!"
Ronnie: "Crack out a home run..."
Stevie: "Shout a hip-hoo-ray!"
Both: "Cheer for the Minnesota Twins today!!"
Me: "Hey guys, where are you headed?"
Ronnie: "We're going to the Metrodome to watch the Twins play the Yankees tonight!"
Me: "They are playing in New York. And the game started, like, two hours ago. The Twins are losing."
Ronnie: "What the hell?!?!"
Stevie: "I really am with Stupid."
**Both Stevie and Ronnie are wearing blue jeans that have been worn a million times. Stevie has her favorite "I'm with Stupid" t-shirt on, and Ronnie wears her beloved white skull t-shirt. I believe the hats are those dishes from Dairy Queen for hot fudge sundaes that they had years ago. Mom got them for me.**
Ronnie Barker
Ronnie Barker, kindly poses for a photograph between takes, during the filming of the Television comedy 'Open All Hours' in which he plays the famous stuttering shopkeeper Albert Arkwright. The episode being filmed at the time was Series 2 episode 5, 'Arkwrights Mobile Store' which was first shown on TV on Sunday 29th March 1981. In total there were 26 episodes, spread over 4 series, of Open All Hours, running between 1976 and 1985. I visited the film set many times to watch the filming, it was the worst kept secret around Doncaster when filming started, and met Ronnie Barker several times, although very quiet he always had time for a chat, to sign autographs and pose for the odd photograph. Sadly missed Ronnie Barker passed away on 3rd October 2005, aged 76.
