We had such an awesome 2009 around here that I was looking for a way to make 2010 even more exciting for us.

I came up with an idea to keep me sharp on my cooking toes. I decided to play a game where I would make a new food every week for 52 weeks. I want to focus on traditional type dishes that I have never cooked successfully before--things like lasagna, beef wellington, tamales, etc.

This is me working on cooking the 2nd meal for this game, orange chicken. I am using my cast iron wok! Cast Iron is my favorite.

Don't I look domestic in an apron? Note the Kitchenaid Mixer opposite me in the frame.
