Solar Powered Hot Dog Cooker

So, I decided to quit engineering and become a chef!
Just kidding! I am the teaching assistant for a course called Thermal Systems Design (MECH 430). This coming weekend, 72 students (18 teams of 4) will be participating in a solar hot dog cookoff. As part of their coursework, the students must design, build and test a solar hot dog cooker. For their final report, the students must include engineering drawings (done in AutoCad) and conduct a heat transfer and thermodynamics analysis on their cooker.
Each judge is going to wear a chef's attire during the competition. The first and second place teams will receive their very own 2 W solar panel (on special at Canadian Tire this week) and a solar powered pathway lamp.
