GIANT Chocolate Sugar Cookies
Following the instructions in the book will yield a cookie with burned edges, in my experience. The book says to bake for 18-20 minutes. The top cookie was baked for only 18 and already the edges are too dark. The bottom cookie was baked for 15 minutes and, as you can see, the edges were beginning to darken slightly. Experiment on your own for the best results, but do not take the time designation quite so literally.
Baking Cookies
I made these yesterday on a whim. I came across some baking clipart and thought they would be fun. The bowl, flour, and rolling pin were hand cut. I have to thank Cookiecrazie again for the hints on hand cutting....I feel like I can make anything instead of being limited to cutters!
