La Gomera veiwed from Los Gigantes Tenerife. This was in my archives and was discovered by Anne and then Christiaan, so I thought I would share it with you all.
La Gomora is also known as the Island of Whistles as the farmers communicate to each other across the mountainside, by whistling.
It is also said and prooved to be correct on my visits to Tenerife. That if you cannot see the Island then the weather is going to be hot. I have never been able to see the Island in the summer months but have been able to see it during the winter months.
Tramway Tenerife- La Laguna "Tenerife A World To Discover/Eine Welt Entdecken." at 28°19?N, 16°34?W
Tenerife counted with New Tramway, Last June 2007/07/02, was openned again the new Tram after two years of works,(so fast) . The tramway is a cheap and comfortable form of public transport ,which links "Santa Cruz de Tenerife", with "La Laguna". Trams are ideal for moving at slow speeds, between 20 and 40 kilometres an hour, and with a maximum speed of 70 Km/ h.
