N68852 C-46 ferry flight back to USA
From my collection,( possiblyfirst C-46 I saw! though El Al Israel flew them to London in those days) ...almost certainly taken by Heathrow legend Brian Stainer, this C-46 was stuck at London Heathrow for several weeks in the summer of 1955 on a ferry flight from India to the USA for the Borges Tillotson Corp.... most of them staged through Prestwick in Scotland....it must have been in a rough state laying in the CBI for 10 years after WWII
