Flight
I somehow just really like this image. The 1.5 hour walk INSIDE the St Peter's Basilica is no exaggeration, considering the amount of art and sculptures in it. Really glad that I travelled with my 18-200VR as well, cuz it performed beautifully in lowlight conditions!
Worth the walk, just be prepared for a LONG day when you have to head over to the Vatican Museums... *groans*
Neuschwanstein down deep inside
The tour of the Neuschwanstein castle takes you from the front door, up five flights to the top floor and then straight down a spiral staircase to the lowest level, shown here as we approached the castle's exit.
