The holidays are coming, and that means a busy time in the toy maker's workshop! This scene from a winter wonderland includes a charming shop filled with tools, toys and even a light-up tower window. Romeo's toy must die
One of his favorite games is "kill the toy", and it's preferably played while someone holds his toy of choice while he tries to rip their arm off. It's a lot like tug of war but more vigorous and sometimes accompanied by growling sounds. It can also be played alone, if necessary, in which case the toy gets flung back and forth, beating it senseless. This is actually one of his favorite toys...a deflated kids basketball. It's so cute because the past few nights he started doing this new thing. When I'm upstairs, he'll bring one of his favorite toys to me to play. After he plays a little, he'll go back down and get a different toy and come back, and keep going back until he has brought 4 or 5 toys. Usually he will stay downstairs and play with his toys there or he will just bring one toy upstairs. He's getting really good at entertaining himself, which is a really big change and relief from this time last year!
Hello Kitty capsule toys ... plus some
Here's my HK capsule toys collection ... I've been working on putting them in this display ... then I realized that I'm missing one!!! Doh! It's the one with the scooter.
Oh dear ... maybe this will mean that I'll have to sit in front of the capsule machine again. lol
