This aircraft was delivered new to Eurocypria Airlines as 5B-
DBR (named "Eypos") in April 2007. It flew for Eurocypria until the airlines' demise in November 2010, when it was returned to lessor ILFC. While with ILFC it wore the registrations N364LF and F-WTAC. The aircraft would return to regular airline service when it began flying for Air Jamaica as 9Y-JMD ("Spirit of Kingston") in April 2011.

Caribbean Airlines acquired Air Jamaica in 2010 and officially re-opened Air Jamaica operations on May 1, 2010. This latest version of Air Jamaica is owned by Caribbean Airlines of Trinidad and Tobago and the government of Jamaica. The acquisition by Caribbean Airlines also gives the company exclusive rights to the Air Jamaica name for one year, with options to an annual renewal.
