This model was issued as a promotional for the Co-operative Wholesale Supplies by Mettoy in 1954. Mettoy re-issued the casting as a Corgi Toys model number 455 in January 1957. For the Corgi Mettoy carried out a few changes: wheels, added a clear plastic window moulding and modified the baseplate. It is a shame neither version was supplied with crates.
