Adapted from an original image courtesy of John Beers II, The White House Hotel has been closed since 1989 and has been intermittently in the process of restoration. I remain hopeful that this landmark property will be preserved.
The property had been essentially stripped in preparation for a complete restoration when Katrina hit Biloxi. The White House emerged relatively unscathed from the storm, but it is essential that a viable project will be announced soon. This is one of the last remaining historic hotels on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The White House Hotel was originally comprised of a row of Victorian houses, several of which were later moved from the site to accommodate later expansion. I suspect that this may have been one of the houses which was moved, but am doubtful that it exists today.
