Sooo... todays picture I'm actually proud of! I accomplished two things today (real LEARN-ED bokeh) and some catchlight. I practiced with the f-stop last night with my glasses and a plastic pumpkin bowl and I decided to give it a go today with my picture. I know its not amazing but its the first time I've accomplished intentional bokeh and I'm pretty proud.
I caught some pretty light in my eye (it looks like a fan to me) and its obviously sunny today. *SHOCK* sunny... scotland *gasp*
The weather is nice with a hint of autumn in the air. This is the best time of year. Edinburgh in September and October is not a thing to be missed!
And on a third and final note. This is me having a 'diet coke' break. Yes yes yes. Just outside my window is a gaggle of guys. Sweating away making holes in the ground to make way for the slow-to-arrive trams. I'm trying to stay positive as I... yet again... endure a day without running water thanks to some idiot down there who's jack-hammered his way through a water main.
xx I hope you can see my artistic and photographic improvements, cos I can even without my presciption designer sunglasses on.

Rob squaring away with our driver. This was the first of many "fleecings" Rob and I endured on this day. Luckily for me Rob paid most of the time. Thanks Rob! Of course I did buy a pair of "designer italian" sunglasses for 500 rupies a real steal! Rob also bought the drum he always wanted. Suffice it to say I left India flat broke!
